Caceres Province, nature and architecture

 The province of Cáceres, in the north of Extremadura offers a diversity of places to get lost. Natural parks, ecological reserves, towns and many sights of interest.

 Near the capital is the Natural Monument of Los Barruecos, a space for the preservation and nesting of the Stork, which contains within it the Vostell Museum.

 To the north of province extends Monfragüe National Park, mons fragorum (dense forest) for the Romans. This is one of the largest parks of the country, where we can see the richness and variety of Mediterranean flora with its meadows and autochthons fauna anfd flora, where it emphasizes the griffon vulture.

 Not to forget some of the most emblematic places of the province as the Monastery of Our Lady of Guadeloupe, Gothic-Mudejar style, and contains works of great artists such as Zurbarán the Monastery of Yuste, retirement of Charles V and the Gothic Cathedral of Plasencia.
